Beyond the standardization of

AB1 Tackle was founded in 2016 out of the need of its founder, Alessandro Bellebono—a passionate and experienced fisherman—to offer the market new ideas and better solutions than what was already available. Thus, AB1 entered the world of sport fishing thanks to the innovative “full floating” roller guide, after weeks and weeks during which a team of experts examined and tested the rollers and fishing rods available on the market.
Since 2018, AB1 Tackle, thanks to the expertise acquired in previous years, decided to produce its own finished product: fishing rods. The company’s focus has been, from the very beginning, the world of Big Game fishing, developing models that range from drifting to offshore trolling and beyond.
In 2023, the company’s new headquarters was inaugurated, still located in the province of Bergamo, where customers can savor and experience firsthand all the technology and craftsmanship of AB1 products.
Today, AB1 continues to develop a wide range of high-quality, handcrafted “Made in Italy” offshore fishing rods, each designed and built to meet all the specific needs requested by customers.
The work of our expert craftsmen has allowed AB1 to gain over time a reputation for technology and unique beauty, elevating the concept of style to a higher and more dynamic level.
