2. Thorough cleaning:
   • Remove the reel from its seat to thoroughly clean all metal parts.
   • Disassemble the rod sections to clean the joints.
   • Use a microfiber sponge and mild soap to carefully clean each part of the equipment.
   • Dry the rod thoroughly with a soft cloth.
3. Ring maintenance: Gently scrub the rings with a soft, damp (non-metallic) brush to remove any impurities.
4. Roller guide maintenance:
   • Pay particular attention to the roller guides during cleaning.
   • Lubricate the pulleys with a lubricant; reel lubricant is recommended.

Important Notes The rod and its components should be checked at the beginning of each season. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling. Store rods in a dry place away from heat sources. By following these instructions, you will ensure greater durability and functionality of AB1 rods.
