AB1 CARBON FIBER CURVED HANDLES

The structural carbon handle is unique, as it does not interrupt the action of the blank at the coupling cup, but continues up to the cross, thus giving the rod the characteristics of a single blank and at the same time the practicality of being disassembled in two pieces. AB1 handles are made entirely of high-quality unidirectional carbon fiber, 100% structured in layers that give high resistance to impacts and expected loads. The geometry is obtained in the mold with a special autoclave cycle to give maximum performance. The head and tail coupling areas are made of AL7075 (aeronautical aluminum alloy) using CNC, an alloy that maintains lightness combined with a mechanical resistance equal to 88 steel. To make the entire body unique, structural adhesives are used, with special cooking cycles. guarantee superior resistance to composite materials. The AL7075 parts are protected by an anodizing treatment and nano-ceramic coatings which further enhance their mechanical properties. The carbon parts are protected by a specific painting cycle. These protections make it practically impervious to marine stress corrosion.
